He huffed, looking down at her. "How is it worse?"
Eventually her head fell slowly onto his shoulder, her hair falling over her face.
"I know," he said, "but don't worry. Just try to keep the conversations relevant."
Her arms were folded, though as she slowly fell asleep over time, they dropped to her lap.
"You know," he said. "Act high society. Mingle. Try not to stand out too much."
She hesitated before nodding, closing her eyes again to sleep, leaning against the wall.
"Unfortunately, we'll have to blend in," he said. "I'll try to look for him in the crowd."
She leaned against the wall. "Hm. I guess."
He laughed, looking out the window. "Fair enough."
She shook her head. "You woke up early too."
He nodded slowly. "Huh.. Got any deep, dark secrets?"
She shrugged, leaning back and closing her eyes. "I'm not really sure."
"Are you close to them?" he asked curiously.
She shook her head. "It's just my grandmother. Maybe a housekeeper."
He nodded slowly, looking thoughtful. "Are you an only child?"
She leaned back, looking out the window. "I suppose."
He tilted his head slightly, this thumb brushing his chin thoughtfully. "It's not a bad thing to be yourself."
She flushed for a moment, getting into the compartment. "I'm just excited too."
He leaned back thoughtfully. "Why not?"
She followed him. "Maybe. We're going to find out."
