He laughed nervously. "That's really morbid, Ferris."
He got up, going to his room. "No, we'll go tomorrow. We need to sleep."
She glanced back with a frown. "..What?"
"You're better than me. I figured you might want to."
She got back under the covers, turning away and trying to go back to sleep.
"Probably," he agreed. "Do you want to come with?"
She nodded slowly. "Okay."
"I'm not sure yet. Somewhere I can see the stage when he presents."
Her frown deepened and she laid back. "Huh."
"You're good at that stuff. Maybe you can map out an easy way, or something? I'm not very agile."
She shrugged slightly. "I'm curious."
He looked thoughtful. "Maybe you can help with the escape route?"
She frowned at him. "What did you do?"
"That's why I have plan how to get away," he said. "I have a few days."
She folded her hands nervously. "Why aren't you welcome here?"
"Exactly," he said lowly. "Why should we let them play into the hands of tyranny again?"
She watched him, guilting settling in slowly.
"I'll be using a sniper," he explained, "but there's still not a good chance. I would have many places to go."
He watched him go, her brows furrowed. She wasn't sure what to do, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"I'm going to kill Tutlier," he said flatly. "In front of everyone."
