She took his hand, getting out of the boat carefully, looking around the town with a small frown.
"I suppose you could stay here if you wanted. I figured you wouldn't," he said easily, taking a water bottle.
She was quiet, her brows furrowed. She seemed uncomfortable and nervous, her eyes down.
"I can set something up. It might take a few days." He crossed his arms. "You look upset."
She nodded hesitantly, reaching up and covering her ears.
He nodded. "Probably. You'd have to probably go by boat.."
Fleur shuddered, tensing a little bit when he spoke.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "I think they're looking for you. Maybe you should go stay with your parents."
She sat down beside him, looking nervous.
He frowned. "Sort of."
She nodded slightly when Ferris spoke, only moving to follow him.
He kissed her cheek. "I love you too."
"I was gathering intel," he said. "I brought the gun in case things went wrong."
Fleur didn't say anything, but looked hopeful, her hands folded in front of him.
