Just then, Navaja, finally awake, stumbled and fell down the stairs. "Aye... My head."
"Something tells me he's on duty, my human."
"Yeah, sure, that's what I said, isn't it? Jeeze, you two might as well just buck and get it over with."
"Yeah. Defend myself against you. Not the whole planet."
Raven rolled her eyes. "Even Asmo could figure out you don't take threats against a whole planet lightly. Why can't you?"
"Edmond. This debate is tired and pointless by now."
Azrael stood back up. "Don't worry about this one, Silver. One blow last time, and she retreated into the sword."
Asmo groaned. "Bruh, he made threats against an entire planet. And he's still pretty alive!"
"Looks like attempted murder to me."
"Is it murder if he's not dead?" Asmo asked.
"Little bit of spirit reinforcement magic along with the body, then, and you ought to be good."
"How's a spaceship easier to get than a body?" Raven asked honestly.
"Then surely... What about Maya's wish accessory? Would that do the trick?"
"Old as you are, human god," said Azrael, "surely you know a way to return fully."
"It has, indeed. You're supposed to be dead." Raven had stopped playing, actually pretty shocked.
"What the *squee!* is going on?" Azrael asked, deciding to sit down.
"Not the sword you need to worry about!" Azrael cast a nasty, bright bolt of lightning at Midnight from behind.
"Old mare?" She leaned back. "Nah, think you got this."
He quickly swung his hoof in an instinctive effort to slap her across the face. If she didn't duck, it would hit like a freight train from Tartarus.
