"Fair enough. But you know what I mean."
She sighed, almost waiting for the first raindrop. Vaughn kept moving, a frown on his face.
She couldn't help but grin. "I take it you're not easy to find gifts for."
Sona looked up as well, maybe a little hopefully. "I'm weirdly excited.."
"Well yeah," she said slowly. "Anything else?"
Vaughn started, remaining quiet.
She looked up at him. "What about you?"
She nodded slowly. "It'll wash the muck away, at least."
She shook her head with a laugh. "No, not really."
Sona looked up as well, trying to detect something that was beyond her. "Hopefully it doesn't get too cold."
She looked thoughtful. "I like tea and reading. And flowers."
Sona got up, brushing herself off.
She brightened, moving to follow.

She shrugged. "Looking for something to do."
"No," he agreed, "but maybe people will receive our cause well and want to help.."
She grinned. "Did you find anything good?"
Vaughn crossed his arms. "You never know how it will be received once we reach the destination. There may still be a chance."
Amira looked around for a moment before spotting him and coming over. "I thought I'd find you here."
Sona picked up the food gratefully, eating in silence.
