She tilted her head. "No.. I don't think I have."
He sighed, lying back. "Let's get to sleep."
She crossed her legs. "Did you specialize in anything? At the colonies..?"
He sat beside her, looking over at her with a sigh. "I'll be sad to see you go."
She looked up at him warmly. "I'll figure it out."
He got up, moving to follow her.
She looked into fire with a small frown. "I suppose I'll have to think about it more."
He looked back at her, hesitating. "Sure."
"Maybe like.. not busy? I'm not sure what there is. I sound silly."
"Not really, An. My life here is not leisurely and we're wanted people."
She leaned back, humming for a moment. "I think I'd like somewhere quiet."
He sighed, standing up and returning to his desk, his expression rather hopeless. "It's.. It's okay. It's your job. And this one is mine."
She tilted her head slightly, watching the fire in thought. "It's weird being able to choose.."
He shook his head slowly. "I can't help that."
She laughed slightly. "They're alright."
This upset him, but he would hardly show it. He pulled away quietly. "..Okay."
She looked thoughtful. "Maybe become a teacher?"
She hesitated. "I'm.. not really sure yet."
He hugged her, his brows furrowed. "I need to know your answer.."
