She nodded, going back to the book.
He laughed. "I know." *** She shut her eyes, wrapping her arms around him and slowly drifting off.
She nodded, opening the book. "It's really good."
"Meh. I don't agree." *** She glanced up sleepily, looking around before pulling the blanket off the back of the couch and pulling it around...
"Almost," she said, pulling the book out of her back. "I'm a bit over half way."

She hesitated, looking embarrassed. "I dunno. I guess it's nice to spend time with somebody, even if it's doing something silent, like reading."
He squinted. "Why not?" *** She kissed the corner of his mouth once more before looking back at the television.

She nodded, sitting at the table. "Yeah."
He nodded, setting out a cup. "Yeah." *** She kissed him back, relaxing slowly.
She tilted her head slightly. "No..?"
He brightened, continuing with the tea. "Great. Thank you." *** She returned the gaze, her expression gentle. "Yeah. It's perfect."
