Maverick nodded slightly. "That's what I heard."
Cassian quickly climbed out.
Maverick shifted human, quietly slipping out of the window, followed by Lilith.
Cassian looked up, quickly walking to her room to hide. Lilith followed him. Maverick simply turned into a small mouse, hiding against some furniture.
"But she was onto something, I think," he said. "But she can't tell us.."
Maverick looked up at Theresa. "So she was attacked when she went to look? Does that mean she saw something she wasn't supposed to?"
Cassian remained silent, his brows furrowing slightly as he read and looked over the page, his posture stiff in the presence of the others.
Cassian was also silent, flipping through with a curious expression.
He looked around with a small frown before picking up the field guide gently, returning to the group. "Here it is."
Cassian nodded, taking in the details curiously before starting to look around.
Cassian looked around, seeming a bit nervous.
Cassian rolled his eyes. "Why don't you lead?"
Cassian nodded slightly. "That makes sense." Maverick started toward the house. "I could go ahead and look around since I can move quieter."
Lilith looked around nervously. Should we go through the window?" Cassian was frowning. "I've never been inside so I don't know the layout."

He rolled his eyes but went to follow anyways.
She gave him a small smile. Cassian shook his head. "No, you wanted to make the comments so deal with the consequences. I'm going with you."
Lilith knelt down, her gaze quite warm towards him. "I know that. I'm going on my own terms." Cassian seemed annoyed, but sighed. "I'm going."
She rolled her eyes with a small grin. "I mean it. And text me when you're done.." Cassian said nothing, watching her coldly.
