He stayed with her for awhile, taking a bit longer to drift off himself.
"That's alright. We can go anywhere we'd like."
She looked away from the body, keeping her eyes on Emerson now. She didn't want to look at it again, or any more than she had to.
He relaxed, brushing her hair back. "I love you too."
He nodded. "Sure, we can go there."
She looked back at the man on the ground. Apparently she was struggling to speak again, her brows furrowed.
"Of course," he said. "I'd like that."
"Yeah, whatever. Where would you like to go first?"
She seemed surprised, relaxing slightly as she tilted her head in relief.
"Uh huh."
Ker leaned into her touch before taking off again.
She was frowning down at the man before looking back at Emerson a bit nervously.
"Years?"
Warner followed, rolling his eyes. "Alright, Ker. Go on home."
The man was knocked down with that one hit, but she gave one more for good measure before throwing the pipe away.
"Sinning is fun, then."
"Party so hard," he said, and they reached the ground.
She held a rusty pipe in her hands, and looked back at him with a frown before continuing. She sped up a bit, and once they got close the man...
"It was good."
He grinned as they began to land. "Good."
