He looked uncertain before heading off, his brows furrowed.
"Lying here," she said decisively. "Looking at the sky."
"I have some work to do back at my office. You can stay here and keep practicing."
"Completely alive," she said, stretching out beside him.
He frowned before turning back to Lucy. "I have to get back to work now."
"I like it," she said, looking around curiously before going to the ground and lying on her back.
He sighed. "I suppose so."
"I know you're not, Aug. I'm glad to have you."
"I wouldn't put it past her to make her adventures seem more exciting, but no, not usually."
They walked for a bit before making it to a wide clearing in the forest.
"Thank you?"
"I certainly do," she said, kissing his cheek.
He looked thoughtful. "Huh. Alright then."
"I don't have one," she said. "We're just walking."
"I think that we've clarified that your existence is definitely not unimportant."
"Yes," she said. "Happy."
He paused, before looking down. "Good point."
She looked around thoughtfully before starting towards the woods.
"Does anything good come of it?"
