He tilted his head again. "Adeline?"
She sighed, wrapping her arms around him and leaning against him. "I love you."
He gave a slight nod as he observed. "Mm. Good."
She squeezed his hand gently before sitting on the edge of the bed with a sigh. "If I don't work we'll have a worse chance of getting back.."
He nodded slowly, folding his arms as he tilted his head curiously.
"I should be working."
He folded his arms.
She looked down at him, her head tilted.
He watched patiently.
