He seemed startled. "What? Absolutely not."
She leaned into his touch. "It's hard to explain, but basically I like you a lot."
He was quiet for a moment. "Yes, I suppose I was."
"No, but.." she sighed. "Nevermind."
" a little bit," he said. "It requires a lot of energy."
"I can't explain it.. I think find you really amazing."
He stepped out, heading for the practice field.
"No, I just.." she looked thoughtful. "You're so good."
"Huh. Alright. Let's go, then."
She pursed her lips before reaching up and giving him a small kiss. "Sometimes I have no words."
He tilted his head. "Er.. Yes. I'm ready. Are you?"
She looked up at him, her head tilted.
He curiously opened the door a moment later.
She wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. "I love you."
Zad was in his office, the door shut.
She frowned slightly before sighing, gently trying to coax his arms into unfolding. "Alright, fine.. Let's just sleep."
"See you later," he said easily.
"It'll help with the swelling and make it hurt less, though."
He nodded, kissing her cheek.
She frowned, looking down at him before leaning down and kissing his temple. "Okay. First I'm going to make some tea and get some ice for your eye."
