She frowned, observing. "There's so many.."
"I think you should."
She pulled her knees to her chest, running a hand through her hair uncomfortably .
"You got hurt, too."
She went quiet again, seeming uncertain and hesitant.
"I'm okay. Maybe you should, though."
It settled down, resting its head in the curve of his neck. "Where are you going?"
"I know. I will."
The bird shifted, remaining on his lap. She said nothing, remaining in her spot.
He nodded. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."
She said nothing, obviously uncertain.
"Just a little out of it," Sariel said.
"Think what you will, I guess. I can't convince you otherwise."
He seemed confused. "You're okay, though.. Right?"
Sariel only frowned. "Why were you fighting?"
"But..." she hesitated, seeming tired, "just because I left doesn't mean I don't have feelings for you."
He squinted. "Zad did what?"
She seemed thoughtful. "I know I made a mistake."
