She reached up, taking his face gently in her hands as her thumb brushed his cheek. "I'm sorry I left, August. I really am very sorry."
"Oh.. Aren't they made of glass?"
She pulled away slightly, her expression falling. "I know you didn't."
"Does that make them hurt?"
"I'm okay. Just seeing you smile.. It made me realize how lucky I am to find you again."
"Did you get up? I can't remember.."
She leaned into his touch, sighing almost shakily. She didn't seem sad, more relieved. "I really missed you, August."
His eyes fluttered slightly. "Addie?"
She observed him as he did, waiting for him to finish wrapping it before hugging him gently, resting her head on his shoulder.
He shifted, murmuring sleepily.
She looked before taking a piece and giving it to him.
He was asleep as well, an arm around her.
She tilted her head. "What are you looking for?"

He gave her kiss. "Make out and then sleep."
