She watched Icarus approach, her eyes red from crying. "I'm sorry, Mo."
She nodded, eating her oatmeal.
"Let's see how much we can stack on him before it falls over."
She kept to herself, not saying anything.
"Yes, I do. I hope you forgive me."
He blinked. "With what?"
She did so, going silent after that. Hardly moments later she broke down, burying her face in her hands as tears streamed down her face.
"I know."
"I have no idea. You'd know better than me."
She looked saddened that that was all he had to say. She went back into the pod.
"I would be grateful."
"I'm not sure. Your call."
Aspen was watching the pod with a deep sadness. She wiped her eyes again before looking at Eli.
"I'm sorry."
He went to eat some of the food.
She nodded, heading out.
"It wasn't intentional."
He grinned. "I try."
She picked him up before coming to Eli, her eyes on the ground.
"It was meant as one."
