He was watching her, his expression hard to read in the dim light. He stepped forward slightly, hugging her.
He frowned, holding them out slightly. It was not too big, but a good size. The flowers were mostly red or orange. "I wanted to.."
"Nothing that would make sense."
He reached out, his touch much softer this time as he brushed her shoulder hopefully, intending to sooth.
He kissed her cheek. "I brought you flowers."
She looked over at him. "Nothing."
He blinked in surprise, patting her back gently.
He looked down at her adoringly. "Hello. I missed you."
"Nothin'."
Warner touched her arm gently, his brows furrowing.
He pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her waist.
She said nothing.
He was silent, watching Molly curiously.
He scanned the crowd, meeting her gaze before starting towards her.
"No.."
Warner looked at her. "We have to hide. Now."
He was standing patiently, one hand in his black coat and the other holding flowers. He hadn't seen her yet.
