He didn't seem to mind her, releasing another arrow at the man, who was now on the ground. With the second he fell completely. Francis approached...
"Feel her feelings, sense danger.. The usual."
"But romantically," she said, exasperated.
She relaxed, moving closer to him as she reached up to rest a hand on his neck.
It was the man from earlier, his bow drawn tight as he had already set another arrow.
"Sure I can. I said I would."
She looked panicked now. "Like.. Liking you!"
She tilted her head. "You are?"
He went to move forward again just as an arrow struck him in the shoulder, making him stumble.
"Well.. Yeah."
She looked uncertain. "Like.. Like.." That look of panic crossed her face. "I don't know. Nothing.. It's hard to explain."
She grinned at him.
He flew back, grunting. After a moment he stood, rather persistent.
He tilted his head. "Now?"
"Right. Feelings."
"I can tell."
He quickly dodged, dashing his knife back towards her.
