"The rock!" she said with a grunt as she tried to push. "I am not strong enough!"
He pulled his hood back, revealing dark hair that looked clean and precise. "That's unimportant.. Have you seen a man pass through here?'
"I just wanted to get coffee!"
She flushed deeper. "August.."
She reached the top, immediately turning to him and trying to push him off, struggling slightly.
He was quiet before gracefully standing and stepping out into the light. It was unnatural, as if he belonged in the shadows. "Excuse me."
"Addie stop attacking me!"
That seemed to make her a bit more more sad before she shook her head, putting on a straight face. "I look fine."
She shook her head, starting towards the top of the rock again.
He noticed her from.the shadows, his expression dark as he took a moment to observe.
"That doesn't mean anything!"
"What look? I don't know what you mean."
She flushed. "Hush."
Francis crept through the darker areas of the woods, his sage coat pulled around him as he scouted.
He gave a short grasp in surprise, falling backwards. Sariel tried to contain a small laugh. "Addie that's bad!"
She tilted her head. "What? No."
"That's just my pleasure."
"I didn't do anything bad!"
She frowned slightly. "I know. I'm waiting for it."
