He stretched his arms, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Aspen stayed completely still, her eyes wide.

Her hair was still braided, through strands of hair had gotten loose and fell messily out of their parts.
He kissed her temple lovingly before starting of the stairs.
She held out the grass towards the rabbit tentatively.
"Should you talk to him?"
She was asleep as well, her nose buried in his chest as she slept.
He turned off his light and stood, offering his hand.
She looked up excitedly. "I can?"
