She had a sincere look in her eye, one of fondness and care as she watched him. "Thank you for telling me, August.."
"Isn't Addie already a nickname?"
He turned over, stretching out.
She gave a small grin. "I see.. I mean I would have offered you to work in my flower shop with me."
She looked up at him curiously, not saying anything for a moment.
"Why?"
He murmured in his sleep, turning his head towards her.
She tilted her head curiously. "Really?"
A look of distaste crossed her face as she watched the table. "I see."
"Zaddy."
He relaxed, his touch gentle.
"I don't know. I did like the flower shop so I think I will. What about you?"
She looked back at him, obviously interested. "Did it work?"
He was asleep as well, his arm around her.
"I'm not sure. Maybe. What about you?"
She looked over at Eli as well. "It's not pathetic," she said quietly. "I'm glad you found each other."
"I don't care for that one."
