"Yes," he admitted. "I did."
She grinned. "I love you too. I'll be quick."
He looked up. "Hey. Are you feeling better?"

He woke slowly, sitting up and stretching.
"Huh."
He laughed. "We'll see."
She paused, quickly taking his hands with a crooked grin on her face. "You're ridiculous. I love you too."
