She was quiet for a moment. "Hey, August?"
She was placing the flowers back meticulously, looking thoughtful.

She nodded, taking it and stirring carefully.
Her hand brushed his arm kindly. "Thank you," she said, turning to go put the flowers back into their places.
He stood up, something stuck out in the back of the collar of his shirt. "Sure."
