"It's a surprise," she said softly. "You'll find out soon."
She blushed slightly, her expression softening under his touch. "I might have some idea.. Considering I feel the same about you."
He grinned, setting his book down. "Of course. It was my pleasure."
"And that is?"
He tilted his head. "You should hone your skills. It could be useful later on."
She buried her face in his shoulder. "I missed you, Row. Do you want to go to bed?"
She glanced at him curiously. "No idea?"
"Don't say it like that.. What if something happened to you?'
He pulled her close. "I missed you too."
She knelt beside the couch, kissing his cheek. "Row? I'm back."
She turned her head stubbornly. "No, you."
"It's not a matter of want at this point, Dali. I don't know if I can."
He chuckled. "You could say that."
She crept by, hiding the box before joining him and wrapping her arms around him.
She grinned, pausing after a moment.
