"Excuses, excuses," she teased, standing up.
She squinted at him, before turning away with a shun.
"Who is they?"
He shook his head. "Not officially. His main job is to just transport people between the realms. Like a reaper, almost."
She checked out the window, feeling rather paranoid.
She rolled her eyes, folding her arms. "Whatever. I'm not the one who fell in a puddle."
He chuckled. "Oh? Who?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose, going to get one. "I have no idea."
Avice clutched one of his shirts, holding it close to her.
"I'm not that bad."
He grinned. "Only for you."
He seemed confused. "..Brochure?" He paused before a sigh escaped. "Oh. Those. Warner gave them to me and I hardly use them."
Her hand held the locket around her neck tightly, and she sat down as she tried to think.
She raised an eyebrow. "First of all, rude. Second of all, you're welcome to join me in my residence. I'm curious about you."
He chuckled, pulling her close.
He opened the door, gesturing out. "Let's take a walk and try to figure things out. I'll show you around."
Avice was back at the hotel, pacing in a panic.
"I don't care. I enjoyed it."
She tilted her head. "I.. I could try to fix you."
