He kissed her hair. "I missed you too."
She shifted, her eyes fluttering open.

He nodded quietly. "Of course."
Tez was asleep, her face buried in his chest.
She glanced over but said nothing.
"You're sad too."

She went to the balcony, her brows furrowed.
He sighed, turning back to the food.
Her fingers held the fabric of his shirt loosely as she drifted off.
She watched him for a moment, her gaze softening. She stood up, her expression somewhat sad as she went to explore.
He looked down at her. "I love you."
She nodded, resting her head against him.
She returned the gaze. "Just thinking."
He shrugged. "I don't know."
She wrapped her arms around him. "Just making sure."
