He laughed, sitting beside her. "Of course."

Avice's eyes fluttered open and she sat up tiredly.
She grumbled. "Fine.."
"I love you too," he said gently, running a hand through his hair.
"My leech human."
It was just across the room.
"Are you going to be gone for very long?"
She buried her face in his shoulder, careful not to spill the coffee. "I love you too."
He chuckled lowly, tilting his head slightly.
She turned to him, a small smile crossing her face. "It's for you!"
