She pulled her hand back hesitantly. "Alright.."
He nodded, resting back and pulling her close, shutting his eyes.
"Of course not."
Francis sighed, his brows furrowing and he finished up the food and began to clean up, giving the kids their plates.
Her expression fell for a moment, but it was hardly noticeable as she looked unaffected. "That's okay."
He chuckled. "We can take a nap if you want. Here in the sun."
"Yes. Don't worry."
Francis watched her go, frowning.
"We don't know if it's impossible either."
"Your voice, too. So worried."
"Besides you, of course. So best dog."
Francis was quiet, focusing.
Her eyes were rather reassuring, tilting her head slightly. "If you remember or not.'
"I can see it in your eyes."
"He's the best."
He seemed to get the point, nodding quietly. "Ok."
She frowned, watching him before resting her hand on his shoulder hesitantly, her hand warm. "Don't worry, okay? Whatever happens, happens."
"Don't worry."
"Of course I do."
