She glanced up, tilting her head slightly as she tucked back a lock of hair. "Did you not believe me?"
She laughed. "Pest?"
He looked up at her. "I love you too."
It was oatmeal, made how liked it. Avice sat in her chair, taking a bite of her bagel.
"Absolutely nothing."
He smiled slightly. "Of course I do."
