He stuck his tongue out at her. "We're like friends but more."
She relaxed, sighing warmly.
"It's cute that you think that."
"I'm sure. Don't worry, okay?"
She pursed her lips. "I believe in you."
"Yeah, a bit," he replied, looking over at her.
She shifted, but didn't move too much.
He sighed. "Let's just relax tomorrow, okay? Just the two of us."
She looked up at him, tilting her head. "Can I help you to bed?"
He chuckled before flopping onto the bed.
She didn't notice, as she was asleep.
He scooted towards the edge of the bed, opening his arms.
"You."
He nodded slowly. "That sounds good."
She eventually drifted off, hidden beneath a pile of blankets.
