He followed, shutting the door behind him.
She raised an eyebrow playfully. "Is that why you ran away?"
He frowned. "I see.. And?"
It wouldn't be long before there was a quick snap of a branch behind him and an unfamiliar person tried to tackle him.
"Then I'm right!"
He chuckled. "Sounds good."
"I thought you were interesting. Then I had a crush on you."
He tilted his head. "Hey. Sure.."
She smiled before heading off. She would not return for 10 or 15 minutes.
"Because I'm super smart. Trust me."
He gave her a kiss. "Thank you."
She crossed her arms. "I didn't just go from thinking of you as acquaintance to dating you and suddenly falling head over heels."
He opened it, his brow furrowed.
She grinned, giving him another kiss. "You're awesome."
"We'll be okay. I just know it."
He kept his head up, watching her.
"I hoped it would. This was before we were together.'
