Well, Xan, it cleaned a bunch of stuff, but didn't fix my problem.
Still haven't gotten Borderlands 2 to work, but otherwise pretty good.
It's not so much an instant downfall in performance as it is it simply does not work now at all. D: Insta-crash every time. You're right, but...

Well, I did the system scan and found one Trojan, which I deleted, but it didn't fix the problem. :/

My biggest problem with Win8 is that Metro and Aero don't even use the same programs. You could have two completely different windows of IE open...
