"Thank you." She relaxed. "So what's this dude coming for?"
"Oh no," said Maya, getting legitimately frustrated. "Nopony's gonna break my door. If you would, I'd like you to go prop it open."
Skydust raised an eyebrow. "I do believe she was speaking with Saber."
Skydust sat up straight and cleared his throat. He quietly asked Saber, "Do you, by chance, partake in recreational use of a certain herb?"
A simple barrier can do that. I do get a little uncomfortable when someone tries to weaken my characters' talents, like Maya's alchemy and Azzy's...
"Rad. After the bar closes up, maybe we can show you around our place." She shot Saber a wink.
She chuckled. "That's cool. Four's a crowd. If you're still interested, that is..."
"So, you two." She pointed at Arch. "You two an item now?"
"Sure thing, hot stuff." She poured her another mug of cider.
She shook her head. "Nah. I'd rather earn stuff. Really nice offer, though."
"Maybe by comparison. But I'm in quad digits." She slid him the last bottle. "Thank my realm and my alchemy for that."
"Young?" She gave him a strange look. "Sure..."
She slid another bottle over to Arch. "That's my second to last, dude. Please hurry up and be drunk."
Maya frowned. "Uh... that's the strongest I have, dude. I didn't expect to serve anypony who drinks like an ursa major."
"Jeeze, dude, save some for Azzy." She gave him a whole bottle. "So I'm fairly certain we're falling for you," said Skydust.
Maya decided buck it and slid him a pint of spirits.
Maya slid Arch a glass full of spirits. "Careful. Strong." Skydust leaned and nuzzled Saber's side.
"You should go kiss Dusty now," Maya suggested. "He knows I like you, so I'm sure he'll..." Skydust walked up to the bar and sat down by Saber....
Maya kept her balance and held her with a giggle. "Fun while the moment lasted, hon."
Maya was surprised, but went with it. She leaned into the kiss, wrapping her forelegs around Saber.
