He frowned, reaching out and touching her jaw, turning her head gently to look at him. "Can you talk to me about it?" he asked softly.
She paused, taking his arm again. "We have a long way to go, huh?"
His smile was uncertain and he tilted his head. "A little," he admitted, approaching her. "Are you okay?"
She nodded enthusiastically. "Are we making anymore stops along the way?"
He watched her leave, looking completely bewildered. "Did I do something?" he asked, following her. "I'm sorry."
She glowered before laughing a little, tucking her hair behind her ear. "That's true... I don't think I've seen a dwarf community before."
His eyes widened slightly and his brow knitted together as he considered her. "No, you're not."
Her eyes widened and her ears turned a slight shade of pink as she blinked rapidly. "Gods. I must seem tiny."
He noticed her embarrassment and frowned, shaking his head a little, but saying nothing.
She turned to look at him, her eyes widening. "What? What's tall for you?"
He looked up at her suddenly. "You are one of the few good things about this."
She nodded briskly, beginning to walk again. "Just as well. Are you, erm, tall for your species?"
