"Nothing! So, who are you?"
Shade hugged him tightly & the crying started up again

"I-I guess..."
"Umm, no...", equinox said, then quietly, & quickly said,"wait! Could this be it?"

"About every other time I went out I would b-... N-never mind...", shade said, looking down
"Huh?", equinox said, looking towards Jackie
"I was constantly being attacked, getting knocked out, having everything stolen, waking up with gashes making my wings nearly fall off."
Equinox used her magic & fix the tree, then shouted into the sky,"gods! Please send me something!", then kept walking along
"I constantly had the fear of being killed in my sleep, starving to death, or being attacked by ponies with weapons, I can go on all day"
Shade made a strait face, & said,"I was forced to watch my mother be killed..."
Equinox started muttering to herself, then hoof-punched a tree, shaking it, & breaking off a layer of bark
"I'd have a hard time believing that."
