“Do you see where the night market is?” he asked her quietly. “That’s where I went.”
She leaned into his touch, looking grateful for a moment before turning to leave.
After preparing for a moment, they took off as if on a zip line, heading into the town.
She took off the cuffs and rubbed his wrists gently before looking up at him. “Hm. Luckily, I’m very fast.”

“That’s my girl,” he murmured, moving past her. “Gather up your stuff, okay?”
She pushed the door open that looked like hers hesitantly, checking to see before she opened it fully.
He gestured to the window. “Same way I came in.”
She took a deep breath before leaving her chamber, stepping out in search of Abel.
