He burst into warm laughter. "Seriously?"
"Ker," she replied immediately. "Always."
"Because you're happy."
He followed, looking around curiously. "You know this area pretty well, huh?"
"I'll manage, I suppose."
"Born ready," she said, reaching for his hand.
"Is that why you want to married me?"
He followed, raising one eyebrow. "Be mad all you want, but you got tackled by a hopped-up Plaguer. I'm not going to let you die."

She went into the bathroom and turned on the sink, returning in about three minutes.
He kissed her fingers, watching her. “What?”
He returned about 10 minutes later, his weapons at his side. “Alright. Lead the way.”
"You can't overload me with affection like that."
She took it, standing up and giving him a quick peck. "Alright. Give me a second to wash my face."
"I love you too."
"That won't do," he decided. "Wait here."
He squinted up at her, sitting up as well. "Excuse me?"
