"That's sad. You wouldn't want to raise my kids?"
She was frowning, tilting her head.
"I don't really know, to be honest," he said, looking over his shoulder. "I don't remember what happened last night."
"You wouldn't want to raise him?"
She considered him before nodding to herself. "It still doesn't seem fair."
August stepped out of the ship. "Hey, Aspen."
She considered him. "Would you like another job?"

"That still doesn't seem fair. Why don't they rotate that job?"
According to the dashboard, the last release was only about an hour after she fell asleep.
"Why not?"
She tilted her head slowly, considering his back. 'That doesn't seem fair, Jaz."
When she arrived, the ship would be gone.
"Okay, well, I could go back to Earth, get pregnant there, come back and have a baby. Boom."
She frowned, tilting her head. "Why is that your job?"

"I could get pregnant," she challenged, raising one eyebrow.
