"But I could learn it," she said, tilting her head. "I think I could do it."
"By you?" she asked curiously.
August watched thoughtfully before standing up and leaving the house.
"I can't make anything living," she said with a frown. "I can't figure it out."
She looked around curiously, her eyes wide. "Do you know this city pretty well, Jaz?"
"I love you," he replied sleepily, brushing his fingers through her hair.
She frowned but everything disappeared in a matter of seconds.
She followed him, her brow furrowed.
"No, you. My head is too fuzzy to sleep."
"What else do I do?"
"Not from here. Do you?"
"Hey," he murmured, kissing the top of her head.
After a few moments, Addie approached him, tilting her head. "Well?" she asked, bubbles leaving her mouth.
She nodded, heading for the door.
August was stretched out on the bed, yawning sleepily.
His fingers passed through it, but it weaved itself through his claws playfully.
She blinked in surprise before nodding slowly. "That'd be great. Thank you."
