She came out to him, tilting her head. "Hey, Zaddy."
"But you didn't bring pillows?" he asked, amused.
"What is that?"
He looked over at her, tilting his head. "Hi."
"What is it?"
She headed towards the door and left, closing it behind her.
He looked down at her, looking very confused before lying back down, frowning.
"Alright. Get one."
She kissed the tip of his nose. "I'll see you. I love you."
Ellis woke in the early morning, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"I don't think so either," he admitted, "but who knows?"
She looked down at him affectionately. "Yeah, sweetie. I gotta go. For real, this time."
He turned in his sleep, stretching his arm over his head.
He frowned, tilting his head. "Eli was worried it would make me savage again."
