She planted a small kiss on his sternum before lying next to him again, her head on his chest.
They remained in a comfortable silence for a while as he watched the stars, his gaze gentle. “Everything is going to be good, Blaise. You’ll see.”

She frowned, still reluctant, but rubbing his back slowly. “Okay.”
