He frowned, studying her for a moment. “Aspen...?”
She frowned, her hands cupping his jaw. “But... I just slept.”
“I’ll teach you more,” he said with a small sigh. “I’ll teach you all of them.”
He frowned, watching her go, looking concerned.
“I probably should get back to training,” she said reluctantly. “I think I had a breakthrough last night, but I gotta rest it.”
“They’re lovely, no?”
“Don’t worry, Pen. You are the best part of my life. You are not the problem.”
She cupped his jaw in her hands and kissed him, her thumb brushing his cheekbone.
“Yeah, that’s the one. That’s Orion.”
He seemed confused. “About what?”
“You’re my favorite person, you know.”
He lifted her finger again and pointed. “There.”
“Is that okay?” he asked, tilting his head.
“I’m sorry I keep waking you up and crying,” she said, laughing slightly.
“Orion. I like that one. It’s over here.”
“I figured that the emotions I was feeling was indicative of love,” he replied thoughtfully. “I figured that this was what you meant.”
She wrapped her arms around his waist. “Thank you for always taking care of me.”
