She began to harness the energy, building up the void in her hands.
He nodded slowly, watching her affectionately. “You’re beautiful, Aspen.”
She turned to him when they got to the courtyard and opened her hands. “Okay. Here we go.”
“I get so happy when I see you.”
She headed towards the courtyard, slipping her hands in her pockets.
“You’re wonderful,” he murmured, coming over to her.
She gestured with her head. “Ready to go?”
He relaxed, looking over at her.
“I’m alright.”
He woke, blinking blearily. “Aspen?”
She frowned, tilting her head. “I’m gonna try it again with or without you, Zaddy,” she said playfully. “You might as well come along.”

“I just woke up,” she said with a yawn, running her fingers through her hair.
He drifted off.
“I felt like you should have tea,” she said sleepily. “Ready to go?”
He leaned back against the ship, closing his eyes.
She nodded sleepily, offering him the tea. “Mmhm...”
