She closed her eyes for a moment before sitting up. “Wanna go visit Zaddy?”
He took a bite and frowned. “I don’t like this one as much, Aspen. It makes my head hurt.”
“I guess so,” she replied, nuzzling her nose in the skin of his neck. “And I love you now.”

His eyes widened as he tasted the ice cream. "Holy *squee!*."
"Would you?" she asked after a moment. "Would you really? You have a life here."
"That is very cold," he complained, taking a tentative bite of the ice cream.
She blushed slightly under his gaze, lying down next to him and wrapping her arms around his waist. "I want you to come back to Earth with me."
"The ice cream," he agreed, sniffing it. He got a dollop of strawberry ice cream on his nose and frowned.
She blinked thoughtfully, watching him adoringly. "I love you too, babe."
He frowned, looking confused. "You eat... the bowl?"
She softened, reaching down to run her fingers through his hair. "You're sweet."
He squinted at the ice cream. "Why is it triangle?"
