She pursed her lips, watching him worriedly.
His head was resting against hers and his fingers traced her skin slowly.

"It looks really ugly," Addie maintained stubbornly. "It's all black and infected, and I don't want him to transform or something."
His hand rested in her hair and he took a deep breath, his brow furrowing.
Addie frowned at Warner. "He got cut up by a creature in Purgatory."
He considered this before nodding. "Okay."
"Thank you," she said, sitting next to him while waiting for the medic.
His eyes opened, and he looked down at her, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What are you doing?"
She laughed easily, kissing his cheek. "So just do this for me, okay?"
He closed his eyes, exhaling sharply at her touch.
