Separate names with a comma.
She frowned, waving them away and considering Zad with a frown. The earth under his feet became more malleable and soft, and he began sinking...
"I'm fine. I'm here."
She panicked slightly, taking a deep breath and shooting flames at the tendrils, kicking out.
"Please don't worry. I'm fine."
She paused before rising higher in the air, keeping her gaze alert and her hands ready.
"You feel like you're worrying."
She exhaled slowly before nodding. "Do your worst. Just... try not to kill me a second time, okay?"
He was quiet for a moment. "You don't need to worry."
She laughed slightly, sounding nervous. "Michael's going to be worse than anything you could throw at me, right?"
He sighed, sounding more sad than anything. "We'll see."
Her eyes opened and she landed on the ground. "Go all out, Zad. Please."
"Are they?"
She swatted it away as if it were an annoyance, frowning.
"I never wanted you to leave in the first place."
They wound up suddenly and quickly, binding him to the ground, wrapping around his legs and waist.
"I know you are. You're here."
She frowned, but closed her eyes, sensing disturbances in the air instead of relying on sight. The vines that were around Zad's feet began to coil...
He leaned into her touch hungrily, his eyes closing. "I needed you."
She dodged them, sweeping her hands and pushing them out of the way. Vines began to coil under Zad's feet.
"Nothing," he said blankly. "There was nothing, Aspen. I had nothing. You were gone. Eli had moved on."
