A vaguely familiar woman emerged from the forest, carrying a bow and arrow. "Edreesyl!"
"But it was good, right?"
She took a pancake and place it gently on Sariel's neck.
There came a soft noise from the forest nearby and a silence before a voice called out. "Eledrian! Edreesyl davensi icrelo!"
"Hell if I know," he said in his normal voice.
"Okay. Ready?"
The terrain was as she had remembered. It was oddly familiar.
"Grumph."
"Hmm. That was a close one."
The pod landed heavily against the ground, pushing up dirt as they slowed to a stop.
He took it. "Yummy nummy."
It managed, although the yolk broke, spilling down towards Sariel's shirt.

"Aww, humph..."
She grinned sweetly up at him. "I don't know."
He nodded. "You should pack."
"HARUMPH?!"
She took a deep breath before setting a hard-boiled egg on the yolk.
"It's tonight. We'll be passing over their area tonight."
