“I think so,” she said comfortably, kissing his sternum. “Find some girl around here and fall in love.”

“You should fall in love,” she said thoughtfully.
It didn’t take long for him to drift off as well.
He kissed her lightly, his eyes adoring. “None of that.”
She frowned, brushing aside his collar to trace the scars on his bare chest. "That's sad."
He rubbed her back slowly, humming a low tune under his breath.
His long fingers brushed her jaw before resting on her lips. "Shush."
“What about you?” she pressed. “Weren’t you married or something?”
"I will once you do."
"What a cutie you are."
She waved her hand slightly. "No. I mean, we had talked about the possibility of trying to make it work again, but..." She shrugged slightly....
“Sleep, okay?”
He laughed slightly, rubbing her back.
“Yeah. It was a while ago.”
He grinned, brushing her hair back.
“Every part.”
She considered this, her brows furrowed. “Yeah. I was once.”
