He nodded, turning to look out to the lawn again. “Do you want to go dancing tonight?”
She kissed him again, her arms wrapping around his neck. “You could have danced with other girls.”
She squinted at him before kissing him deeply, her hands moving to run through his hair.
He watched her for a moment, his eyes soft. “I adore you, you know.”
She frowned for a moment before reaching up and kissing him deeply, her hand cupping his jaw. “Why?”
She drummed her fingers on his chest, watching him thoughtfully. “Like, I think I love you.”
He hesitated, looking over at her. “Even though you had to leave everything behind?”
