He huffed before lying back on the pillows with her.
He frowned, looking down at her. "Are you okay?"
She kept her voice low, calm and sweet and extended a hand, palm open to him. "C'mere, love. Come to Addie, okay?"

He looked around. "Where's Eli?"
She considered it before turning to the dinosaur. "Ker, darling? C'mere, sweet boy."
He laughed against her lips, kissing her back.
