"Maybe someday."
She froze uncertainly, turning her head slightly before her hands rested on his back, her frame relaxing slightly. "Still," she said quietly....
"Hanging out with you, really. God, that's so corny."
"With the rabbits?"
She turned to look at him, one brow raised.
He held her, looking down at her. "What do you want to do today?"
"Well, even that would be a gamble. He doesn't want pets. I see what he means."
"It's not, but thanks," she said, opening the door.
"I just woke up, but you."
"It's the only one he'd want to keep."
She sighed and dropped her hands. "At any rate, I'm sorry. It was a *squee!*ty thing for me to do."
